Enable Phantom Virtual Card for Morocco
Adam Tazi
Hello Phantom Team,
I’m a Phantom user based in Morocco, and I’d like to share an important piece of feedback regarding the Phantom virtual card.
There is a strong and growing demand for a reliable crypto virtual card in Morocco and across North Africa. Many users here actively use Phantom to hold, swap, and interact with crypto on-chain, but we currently lack a safe and modern way to spend our crypto online. Traditional banking options are limited, and many international services are either unavailable or unreliable in our region.
A Phantom virtual card (even without a physical card) would solve a real problem for thousands of users like me. It would allow us to pay for online services, subscriptions, tools, and everyday digital needs directly from our Phantom balances — without relying on third-party platforms that often charge high fees or lack transparency.
Moroccan users are:
- Crypto-active and growing rapidly
- Highly interested in self-custody solutions
- In need of compliant, regulated virtual payment options
Enabling the Phantom virtual card for Morocco (or opening a waitlist for selected international regions) would:
- Greatly increase Phantom adoption in Africa
- Strengthen Phantom’s image as a truly global wallet
- Provide real-world utility, not just storage
Even a limited pilot program, stricter KYC, or a virtual-card-only rollout would already be extremely valuable for us.
We genuinely trust Phantom and want to use it as our main financial bridge between crypto and real life. I hope you will consider Morocco and similar regions in your upcoming expansion plans.
Thank you for building such an excellent product, and thank you for listening to your global community.
Kind regards,
Adam
